Dr. Mary Alice Daniel

Mary Alice Daniel is a Princeton University postdoctoral fellow whose work explores heritage, migration, and faith. Her debut poetry collection, Mass for Shut-Ins, won the Yale Series of Younger Poets Prize, and her memoir, A Coastline Is an Immeasurable Thing, was named a Best Book of the Year.

Dr. Dior Stephens

Instructor & Poet

Dior J. Stephens is a poet, multi-disciplinary artist, and the co-editor-in-chief of Foglifter Journal & Press. Their award-nominated work investigates Black, queer identity and memory through visually-charged and innovative forms. Their debut poetry collection, CRUEL/CRUEL was a finalist for the 2024 Ohioana Book Award in Poetry, and their second collection, ATOMIC I, is forthcoming in 2027.
